Electric traction systems

The Company Trevisan s.r.l. was founded by Giuseppe Trevisan in 1961, as a soleproprietor firm in the field of electric systems. Since 1966 it has mainly addressed its activity to industrial electrical systems works and, on behalf of Ferrovie dello Stato and it has took its first steps in the field of railway lines’ electrification.

Therefore the company has developped its resources, improving workers, machinery and equipments ; the clearly evident improvement of its logistic platform has allowed the achievement of several works in the sections of Trieste and Udine, and, at the same time, a growing experience in this field.

In 1986, thanks to the propelling thrust of the founder, the sole-proprietor firm became TREVISAN s.r.l., and it reinforced in a significant way its competitive position in the field of Railway Electric Traction.

In this period the collaboration with the FS Section of Trieste and with the 2nd Special Unit of Udine continued and, since the early Nineties, the company has begun to extend beyond its area, obtaining important works nearby the Sections of Bologna, Florence, Rome and Ancona.

The company Trevisan srl enters the new Millenium with more and more important working experiences, and, following the excellent results achieved in the previous years, it continues the improvement of its resources, and nowadays it places itself between the major companies in this field.
