Many works have been done during this period:

• 1986 - Electrification of Artegna-Tarcento section.
• 1986 - Electrification of a part of the railway line, Gorizia-Redipuglia section.
• 1986 - Development of the electric traction systems in Villa Vicentina station.
• 1987 - Electrification of the through track between the stations of Gorizia and Mossa.
• 1988 - Installation of the isolators with an engine control in some stations of the Trieste section.
• 1989 - Modification of the electric traction systems in the stations of Pontedera, Cascina and Navacchio, in San Frediano stop and in S.Miniato F.- Pisa C.le section.
• 1990 - Renewal of the contact pipes, Bivio S.Vitale- Mirandola Ozzano section, railway line Bologna-Rimini.
• 1991 - Adaptation of the electric traction systems in the stations of Viareggio-Prato and Lucca- Pisa sections.
• 1992 - Electrification of the Carnia station ,Udine- Tarvisio railway line, as per the arrangement of the town plan.
• 1993 - Second phase of electrification - Padova interporto.
• 1994 - Renewal of the electric traction systems in some sections of the railway line Rome-Florence between Castiglion Fiorentino and Chiusi.
• 1994 - Adaptation of the electric traction systems in the stations of San Giorgio di Piano, S.Elena d’Este, Battaglia, Abano and Terme Euganee, railway line Bologna-Padova.
• 1995 - Electric traction works on the new second track, railway line Udine-Tarvisio.
• 1995 - Agreement of ordinary maintenance of the electric traction systems with Trieste Sections - two-years period 95-96.
• 1996 - Electric traction works – Chiusi-Rigutino and Rigutino-Florence sections.
• 1997 - Electrification works for the completion of the second track between Mossa and Cormons stations.
• 1997 - Building of concrete blocks for the piles in Pineto- Silvi and Cattolica-Pesaro sections, and from km.130 to km 133, railway line Rimini-Termoli.
• 1998 - Electric traction works in the tunnels of Sablice, San Giovanni and Aurisina, railway line Venezia-Trieste line; Bivio San Polo-Trieste section.
• 1999 - Necessary electric traction works in Padova C.le station, as per the arrangement of the town plan.
• 1999 - Electrification 3KV - Udine-PM Vat section..
• 1999 - Agreement of ordinary maintenance of electric traction systems - Trieste section - two-years period 99/00.
• 1999 - Substitution of the contact line, suspension and insulation parts included, in the tunnel of “Montorso” , railway line Rome-Formia.
• 1999 - Renewal of electric traction systems Ciampino/Casilina, Ciampino-Capannelle section.
